Does it work with self-hosted n8n?

Yes, as long as your n8n server is reachable over https from the internet.

How do I verify the signature?

Compute HMAC-SHA256 of `${t}.${rawBody}` with your webhook secret and compare it with v1 in the X-Forms-Signature header, using the raw body exactly as received.

How fast must n8n reply?

With any 2xx status within 10 seconds. Otherwise FormsAI retries, up to 5 times.

Can I use the API instead?

Yes. The REST API on Pro lists forms and responses and can subscribe webhooks, 60 requests a minute per key.
