About the app
Is there a Mac app?+
Yes. Download Forms for Mac from this page: one app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs, signed and notarized by Apple, with the full builder, results and responses. Open the disk image and drag Forms AI into Applications.
Is the Mac app safe to install?+
Yes. It’s signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, which checks it for malicious software before macOS will open it. You won’t see an “unidentified developer” warning.
Is it the same account as Forms on the web?+
Yes. Sign in with the same email, Google or Apple account and you’ll see the same forms, responses and plan. Forms you change on the web update in the app straight away.
Can I build forms in the app?+
You can start a form from a template or describe it and let Filo build it (Filo is part of Forms Pro), then publish, share, close and reopen it. Detailed design and logic editing happens in Forms on the web.
How do I sign in on the Mac?+
With the same email, Google or Apple account you use on the web. Google opens in your browser for a moment, then hands you back to the app, signed in.
What about Android and Windows?+
Forms works in any modern browser, so on Android, Windows and Linux you can build forms and read every response at forms.shaheermalik.com.
Do the people answering my forms need the app?+
No. Your forms open in any browser from a link or QR code. The app is for you and your team, to keep up with responses.
